The Salaca demo expedition is a four-day adventure on one of Latvia's most exciting rivers. We paddle approximately 100 km of flowing water, navigate rapids, explore caves and sandstone outcrops, and camp overnight in wild, natural settings. As a demo trip, we discover the route together — campsites and daily distances take shape as the journey unfolds. We travel in stable two-person touring kayaks, and participants should be comfortable paddling 30–40 km a day on moving water. If you're ready for a genuine adventure and embrace the unknown, this trip is for you.
