Water activities for schools and youth groups.
As a physical education teacher myself, I see every day how much children need more active, hands-on experiences. In my view, the world of water is vastly underused — yet endlessly exciting. Some kids who can't be bothered to run a lap in PE class will happily paddle for half a day without even realising they've done something physically demanding. My goal is to get more children and young people out on the water, give them unforgettable experiences, and at the same time teach them about the risks involved and how to stay safe. Veeretked offers school trips, class excursions, and youth adventures on Estonia's rivers and lakes. All our guides hold professional certifications, are highly experienced, and have completed water safety and expedition leadership training — ensuring every participant enjoys a safe and truly memorable experience.
Kayaking & Rafting Trips
A guided kayak or (pack)raft trip on one of Estonia's most beautiful rivers — Võhandu, Avijõgi, Rannapungerja, Kääpa, or Põltsamaa. Each trip lasts 2–4 hours and is suitable from the second school stage onwards. All equipment is provided and no prior experience is needed. The perfect class outing for exploring nature and building teamwork on the water.

Water Safety Day
During our Water Safety Day, children get hands-on with a range of watercraft — kayaks, rafts, and packrafts — while learning how to behave safely around water. The day combines practical on-water exercises with an engaging introduction to safety rules, boat types, and essential knowledge for any water adventure. We run these events on smaller lakes near schools, including mill-pond lakes and calm reservoir waters. Every age group gets out on the water: pupils from the 2nd and 3rd school stage paddle independently, while 1st-stage children explore with guides aboard the rafts. A fantastic addition to school outdoor days, summer camps, and educational programmes.

Raftball
Raftball is a thrilling ball game played on packrafts, where two teams compete head-to-head on the water. It builds teamwork, sparks plenty of laughter, and gets everyone involved. Suitable for groups of 10 or more. The game is played on packrafts — soft, inflatable boats that are remarkably stable and forgiving. Getting wet is all part of the fun, so this activity is best enjoyed when the water has warmed up. An energetic and memorable highlight for school sports days, youth camps, and any group looking for something out of the ordinary.

Packraft Experience
A packraft is a lightweight inflatable boat weighing under 4 kg, suitable for any body of water. We introduce children to this innovative craft — how to inflate it, launch it, and steer it with confidence. A brilliant opportunity to try something completely new. Perfect for school and youth trips where children can safely explore a whole new style of paddling.
